PREM SHIFT START - Premium Shift Start Time Rule Overview This time rule will apply a premium to the entire shift if the employee starts work before or after a specific time provided in the To and From columns. If the premium defined in the time rule is: Fix, the premium will be applied only to the first shift record Variable, the premium will be attached to all the records in a shift Requirements / Features Time Rule Type Code: PREM SHIFT START Additional Info Band not taken into consideration From "after start time", if the work start time is after the time specified in the From column, the employee will qualify for the premium To "before start time", if the work start time is before the time specified in the To column, the employee will qualify for the premium Frequency predefined as ‘Every Shift’ Implementation The time rule should be set up in IDWR under the Time Rules tab as indicated below.
