OUT OF CLASS#
Time Rule Overview#
An employee who works in a job that is determined to be a higher rate will be eligible for an out of class premium in the following conditions:
- The employee works in a new job for at least the minimum hours indicated in the band
- The lowest step of the new Job must be at a greater rate of pay than their assignment's job lowest scale.
- The new job wage step is found and is greater than the employee's assignment's job current wage step with minimum amount defined in the value.

The assignment reference Scale/Step is the one defined at the level of assignment (IEAS Compensation tab) and not the one defined on the assignment's job.
If the Scale Overridden is checked, the rule will not be applied.
