OUT OF CLASS#
Time Rule Overview#
This time rule will identify if an employee who works in a new job, that is at a higher rate than the old job, is eligible for an Out of Class premium. This rule will be invoked in the following conditions:- The employee works in a new job for at least the minimum hours defined in the Band
- The lowest step of the new job must be at a greater rate of pay than the old job's lowest scale.
- The new job wage step is found and is greater than the employee's old job's wage step, after the threshold is met, defined in the Value.
- The assignment reference Scale/Step is the one defined at the level of assignment (IEAS - Compensation tab) and not the one defined on the assignment's job.
