Time Rule Overview#

This time rule will grant an employee overtime when the hours per week exceed the amount defined in the Band. If the Target Time Code Set field is not defined, this rule will target all Work Rule time codes that have the Weekly OT toggle set to ON.

• The assignment hours per week can be used as the minimum number of hours to qualify, by defining the Band as "-1".
• the week Start Time is optional (defined in IDWR).

Implementation#

The time rule should be set up in IDWR as shown below.

[1] If the Band is "-1", the assignment hours per week are used as the minimum number of hours to qualify.

The example below shows how the time frame is taken into consideration for work hours and how the time rules are applied.

• For this example, the first day of the week is Saturday (defined in IDWR)
