OT DAILY SHIFT - Overtime Daily Shift #

Time Rule Overview#

Overtime may be granted for hours that exceed the total worked time defined in the shift or if the band is greater than 0 for hours worked that exceed the band.

Applies OT to the time outside of the normal shift. i.e., not chronologically (may apply OT before shift start time)

• Time Rule Type Code: OT DAILY SHIFT

Additional Info#

Band

• minimum number of hours worked to qualify.
• if the band is 0 then minimum hours to qualify are determined by shift work hours

Frequency

• predefined as ‘Every Day’

Implementation#

The time rule should be set up in IDWR as shown below. See Time Rule Improvements for additional information regarding IDWR.
