OFFSET HP WK CND – Offset Paid Holiday Working Conditions #
Time Rule Overview#
This time rule will offset a paid holiday if an employee does not work the number of days, defined in the Band, within the last number of days, defined in the Value OR if an employee’s days of employment are less that the number of days, defined in the Value. There are two distinct variations of this rule:
- Employment Date: The Holiday pay will be offset if an employee’s days of employment are less than the number of days defined in the Value. The number of work days is not taken into consideration, so even if an employee works the number of days required to qualify for the paid Holiday, because an employee is new and their employment days are less than the number of days defined in the Value, an employee will not qualify for paid Holiday and the paid Holiday will be offset.
- Hours Worked: A paid Holiday will be offset if an employee does not work at least of number of days defined in the Band, within the last number of days defined in the Value
