If the Target Time Code Set is defined, only records that have one of the defined Time Codes will go through the missing punch evaluation process. This allows a manager to add extra time afterward, and this time can be excluded from the missing punch evaluation.
For more details about missing punches please read Missing Clock Punches
The identification of missing punches depends on the following set up on the IDWR form. on the IDWR(Details Tab):
When only the Track Work Punches is set to ON, the system will predict that there will be punches at the beginning and end of the shift work time, or for any work after a gap in time, such as a split shift.
When the Track Work Punches and the Track Meal Punches toggles are both set to ON, the system will predict that there will also be punches for meal time. If neither toggles are set to ON, the system will not expect any Clock punches.
