Gap Time#

Time Rule Overview#

This time rule will identify and fill gaps in the time. Depending of the break length, defined in the Value, the rule will apply different time codes.

If the break length is greater than the Value, the Meal time rule Time Code will be applied, otherwise it will apply the Time Code defined in the Gap Time rule.

This time rule will work in conjunction with Meal Penalty, to ensure that the employee has a Meal break each five hours of work, or they will receive an additional one hour's pay as compensation.

Implementation#

The time rule should be set up in IDWR as shown below.
