FLSA ADJUST Time Rule Overview This time rule is used to make sure that when time is brought into payroll the correct adjustments are made for the time to be included in the correct FLSA period. The key attributes for creating the time rule are From Time - the time of day when the FLSA period ends Day - the day of the week when the FLSA period ends Time Code - used for creating the offsetting entries to get the worked time into the correct FLSA period Target Time Code Set - FLSA ADJUST HRS (The time code set should contain any time that can contribute to FLSA (e.g. worked or leave time). At a minimum, regular hours should be included in this time code set. When the FLSA end date is the last day of the pay period, the negative adjustment will be applied in the current pay period. When the next pay period time sheet is processed, the time rule applies the positive entry on the first day of the pay period. Other time rules should not target this time code. If the FLSA adjustment time code is not targeted then they will not be affected.
Here is a sample out put from the running of the time rule above The FLSA period ends on Friday Feb 22nd When the FLSA_ADJUST is applied it creates the following entries. For more information on using this time rule to adjust the FLSA please review the white paper EP-WP-TR_FLSA_ADJUST-v1.0.doc.
