TIME_SHEET_ENTRY_SOURCE is a field which displays what source created the time sheet.
X_TIME_SHEET_ENTRY_SOURCE is a fixed lexicon with the following values:

| 01 | Generated - Hours | Entry generated by the system using hours logic (no start or end times) |
| 02 | Manual | Entry manually created by a user |
| 03 | Calculated - Time Rules | Entry created by Time Rule logic based on Work Rule set up |
| 04 | Generated | Entry generated by the system |
| 05 | Generated - Scheduled Hours | Entry generated by the system using start and end times |
| 06 | Manual by TTX | Manual Entry created on a time exception table |
| 07 | Generated - Holidays | Obsolete - No longer used |
| 09 | Generated - Leaves | Obsolete - No longer used |
| 10 | Loaded | Loaded via external source (LTCE,LMTD,LPTS) |
| 11 | Manual By Payroll | Entry created manually on payroll screen |
