STANDING is found on many code definition tables to indicate the current status of that code.
The values for this field come from the fixed lexicon X_STANDING with the following values:

| A | Active |
| F | Frozen |
| O | Obsolete |
The system does not currently inhibit the user from using codes with a standing other than active unless you have configured the LOV to restrict this.
