SHIFT_PATTERN_CODE is a 16-character alphanumeric field which displays the user-defined code that uniquely identifies the shift pattern. Shift pattern codes must be unique across the system e.g. 8 Hour Day/Night, 12 Hour Day/Night.
Shift patterns specify a daily sequence of shifts worked and "off" days, repeating every "n" days. Shift patterns are used in establishing work team shift rotations.
