A schema is, in data base terms, a collection of data base objects that are "owned" by a particular user. Within the Personality data base structures, the schema owner is the [data base user|DATA BASE USER] P2K. As such, the P2K user has special rights and privileges at the data base level and there are a few data base processes that should only be executed by this user.

The schema defines the [tables|TABLES AND VIEWS] and the columns within them, as well as the relationships between these tables, [referential integrity|REFERENTIAL INTEGRITY] constraints, [stored procedures|STORED PROCEDURE] and [sequences|DATA BASE SEQUENCE]
