A schema is, in data base terms, a collection of data base objects that are "owned" by a particular user. Within the Personality data base structures, the schema owner is the data base user P2K. As such, the P2K user has special rights and privileges at the data base level and there are a few data base processes that should only be executed by this user.

The schema defines the tables and the columns within them, as well as the relationships between these tables, referential integrity constraints, stored procedures and sequences
