USWS - SCALE BASE DATE#
This date field will determine which effective date Scale Wage Rate the wage rate change will use to calculate the new wage rate. Some clients will use a wage rate other than the most recent to apply a wage rate change to and this date field will allow for that option.
- Blank Field
- This will apply the wage rate change to the last effective date record and add the result to the this wage rate for the new wage rate.
- Date Entered
- The wage rate change will be applied to the wage rate that is associated with the entered date. The result will be added to the current wage rate.

The calculation will be 128.52 x 3% = 3.86 + 128.52 = 132.38
Scale Base Date field 01-Jan-0001
The calculation will be 120.00 x 3% = 3.60 + 128.52 = 132.12
The new effective date wage rate will be either one of the examples below depending on the use of the scale base date field:
