PROOF_REQUIRED is a toggle used to indicate if employees are required to submit proof that the event took place when the event is recorded in WEBEV or IBEV. For example, some carriers require a birth certificate or a marriage license.
This field is used in Benefit Self Service for Open Enrollments.
