!!!PROCESS PROMOTIONS (USING PA'S)

The Process Promotion screen allows you to process promotions using a personnel action.
Process Promotion data is stored in the [P2K_SA_PERSONNEL_ACTIONS], [P2K_HR_ASSIGNMENTS] and [P2K_HR_ASSIGNMENT_DETAILS] tables.

;[PA #|PA_NUMBER]:This field displays the PA which will process the promotions.
;[Takes Effect|PA_EFFECTIVE_DATE]:The date the PA takes effect will be displayed in this field.
;[Change Reason|CHANGE_CODE]:This field provides the reason for the data change.
;[Initiate PA|ACT_INITIATE_PA]:This button will allows you to initiate a Personnel Action for the employee in focus. 
;[Cancel PA|ACT_CANCEL_PA]:This button allows you to cancel the PA by pressing this button, once pressed the status will change to 'Cancelled'.

;[Position|POSITION_CODE]:This field identifies the position associated with the promotion.
;[Title|ASSIGNMENT_TITLE]:This field identifies the assignment associated with the promotion.
;[Employment Status|STATUS_CODE]:This field describes the employment standing with the organization. 
;[Job|JOB_CODE]:This field identifies the job associated with the promotion.
;[Unit|UNIT_CODE]:This field identifies the unit associated with the promotion.
;[Group|GROUP_CODE]:This field identifies the group associated with the promotion.
;[Work Rule|WORK_RULE (Field)]:This field identifies the work rule associated with the promotion.
;[Range|RANGE_CODE]:This field identifies the range associated with the promotion.
;[Scale/Step|STEP_CODE]:This field identifies the scale/step associated with the promotion.
;[Wage Rate|WAGE_RATE]:This field identifies the wage rate associated with the promotion.
;[Basis|RATE_BASIS]:This field holds the unit of measure that the rate is being expressed in.
;[Min Salary|DRV_MIN_SALARY]:This is the starting amount for the salary range.
;[Mid Salary|DRV_MID_SALARY]:This is the mid-range amount for the salary range.
;[Max Salary|DRV_MAX_SALARY]:This is the highest amount for the salary range.
;[Compa Ratio|DRV_COMPA_RATIO]:This ratio is calculated as the actual range as a percentage of the 'Midpoint' amount. 
;:e.g. Employee Wage Rate / Midpoint X 100%
;:If the midpoint salary is $40,000 and the employees wage rate is:
;:$20,000, then compa ratio would be 50%
;:$40,000, then compa ratio would be 100%
;:$60,000 then compa ratio would be 150%
;[Annual|DRV_ANNUAL]:This is the compensation rate provided on an annual basis.
;[Monthly|DRV_MONTHLY]:This is the compensation rate provided on a monthly basis.
;[Semi Monthly|DRV_SEMI_MONTHLY]:This is the compensation rate provided on a semi-monthly basis.
;[Bi-Weekly|DRV_BI_WEEKLY]:This is the compensation rate provided on a bi-weekly basis.
;[Weekly|DRV_WEEKLY]:This is the compensation rate provided on a weekly basis.

;[Submit PA|ACT_SUBMIT_PA]:This is an action button which allows you to submit the PA for review. When pressed a dialog will appear asking you to verify the changes by pressing OK or Cancel. The status of the PA will then change to 'Submitted'. 

;[Process PA|ACT_PROCESS_PA]:This is an action button which will update the employee's records with the changed detail of the PA. The status  of the PA will be updated to 'Completed'.
