!!!Process Compensation Changes (Using PA's)

The Process Compensation Changes screen allows you to process compensation changes using a personnel action.

Process Compensation Changes data is stored in the [P2K_SA_PERSONNEL_ACTIONS], [P2K_HR_ASSIGNMENTS] and [P2K_HR_ASSIGNMENT_DETAILS] tables.

!Personnel Action Request

;[PA #|PA_NUMBER]:This field displays the PA which will maintain the alias.
;[Change Reason|CHANGE_CODE]:This field provides the reason for the data change.
;[Takes Effect|PA_EFFECTIVE_DATE]:The date the PA takes effect will be displayed in this field.
;[New Effect|NEW_EFFECTIVE]:This field displays the new date that the change is effective. 
;[Initiate PA|ACT_INITIATE_PA]:This button will allows you to initiate a Personnel Action for the employee in focus. 
;[Cancel PA|ACT_CANCEL_PA]:This button allows you to cancel the PA by pressing this button, once pressed the status will change to 'Cancelled'. 

!Classification Information
;[Position|POSITION_CODE]:This is the position to which the employee is assigned.
;[Job|JOB_CODE]:This field shows the job that the employee is hired to perform. 
;[Range|RANGE_CODE]:Salary range provides minimum and maximum guidelines for the salary payable for the job, with which an employee's salary may be compared.
;[Scale/Step|SCALE_CODE]:The Wage Scale and Step fields determine the wage that is derived from the wage scale table.
;[Wage Rate|WAGE_RATE]:The employee's wage rate, expressed in terms of the rate basis, below.
;[Basis|RATE_BASIS]:The rate basis is the unit of measure that the associate wage rate is being stored or displayed in.
;[Min Salary|DRV_MIN_SALARY]:This is the starting amount for the salary range.
;[Mid Salary|DRV_MID_SALARY]:This is the mid-range amount for the salary range.
;[Max Salary|DRV_MAX_SALARY]:This is the highest amount for the salary range.
;[Compa Ratio|DRV_COMPA_RATIO]:This ratio is calculated as the actual range as a percentage of the 'Midpoint' amount. 
;:e.g. Employee Wage Rate / Midpoint X 100%
;:If the midpoint salary is $40,000 and the employees wage rate is:
;:$20,000, then compa ratio would be 50%
;:$40,000, then compa ratio would be 100%
;:$60,000 then compa ratio would be 150%
;[Annual|DRV_ANNUAL]:This is the compensation rate provided on an annual basis.
;[Monthly|DRV_MONTHLY]:This is the compensation rate provided on a monthly basis.
;[Semi Monthly|DRV_SEMI_MONTHLY]:This is the compensation rate provided on a semi-monthly basis.
;[Bi-Weekly|DRV_BI_WEEKLY]:This is the compensation rate provided on a bi-weekly basis.
;[Weekly|DRV_WEEKLY]:This is the compensation rate provided on a weekly basis.
