Maintain Aliases (Using PA's)#
The Maintain Aliases screen allows you to maintain alternate names for employees using a personnel action.
Maintain Aliases data is stored in the P2K_SA_PERSONNEL_ACTIONS and P2K_HR_ALIASES tables.
Personnel Action Request#
- PA #
- This field displays the PA which will maintain the alias.
- Takes Effect
- The date the PA takes effect will be displayed in this field.
- Change Reason
- This field provides the reason for the data change.
- Initiate PA
- This button will allows you to initiate a Personnel Action for the employee in focus.
- Cancel PA
- Salutation
- This field shows the usual forms of addressing the employee (i.e. Ms, Mr., Dr, etc.).
- First Name
- This field provides an alternate first name used by the employee.
- Middle Name
- This is the employee's alias middle name or initial(s).
- Last Name
- This field shows the alternate surname of the employee, such an employee’s maiden name or the name specified on an employee’s SSN/SIN card.
- Rank
- This field holds any name extension the employee might use. (i.e. Jr., Sr., III etc.).
