The P2K_DBA role is provided for users who are system administrators and require a higher level of access to the database. This role allows users to perform certain data base administrative functions such as creating new roles, new users and maintaining tables and views.
At least one Web Site Administrator user will require the P2K_DBA role in order to add new users via the IMUS screen.
The P2K_DBA role has additional privileges that must be safeguarded. Any user that has the P2K_DBA role has the ability to create other roles, create other users and assign those users roles. The P2K_DBA also has the ability to change other characteristics of the user, such as password.
