The easiest form of navigation for new users is through the Menus. Every function a user is able to perform is identified on the menus. Browsing through the menus is a great way to learn the product, although more experienced users will use the command window.

The window menu bar holds all of the application menus. To view a menu, simply click the menu name. Move through the menu items or between the menus by sliding your mouse over them or by using the arrow keys on your keyboard. Some menu items are functions; others are links to submenus. An arrow on the right hand side indicates that the menu item is a submenu. To open a submenu, click or hold your mouse over the menu item. The submenu is automatically displayed to the right. In a few areas of the application, there are lower level submenus. These work the same way.
Commonly used menu items have icons to the left of their name. Menu items for functions you can execute have either a quick key (e.g. Ctrl+P) or a command name that can be entered in the command window for faster access. Windows accelerator keys are also supported on frequently used functions.
To execute a function on a menu, click the menu item.
