LOV_VAL_DELAY_MS (System Preference)#

DescriptionDetermines the delay time for auto complete of LOV (list of value) fields
Set atSite (IMST) or Function (IMFN). Function settings take priority
Takes Effect Upon system startup (IMST) or entry into the function (IMFN)
Values numeric value in milliseconds
Default 750 (milliseconds)
Notes Users should not set this value too low or too high without risking unusual behavior. Suggested range is (500 - 1500) ms. Turning this to a higher value means that when a user pauses, the system will wait that long before going to the database to try to "auto complete" the entry.
