JOB_SENORITY_DATE is an optional date field at the database level. The job seniority date is used to track a seniority date that is related to a specific assignment, position, department or job. The Job Seniority Date is defaulted to the Assignment start date (which defaults to the Hire Date), upon the creation of any assignments. Blanking this field out on the screen will cause it to redefault to the assignment start date.
