ISO REPORTING#

The purpose of this document is to explain the setup and usage of Training Courses Requirement functionality and reporting.

Setup#

For each employee, position, job, location, department or entity, user can setup specified courses that will be required for an individual to acquire certain level of competence.

ICCS: Establish Course Schedules

Training courses are scheduled through ICCS – Establish Course Schedules. User can select different level of training requirements: Entity, Department, Location, Job, Position, Employee (Person Code). For example, if a position is selected, it indicates that all employees in that specified position will required to take the identified course unless they already have the competences that course will develop. ICRS: Maintain Courses Define Courses and Class Schedules. It also defines competences that will be developed upon completion of a course. This must be filled as it indicates whether if the employee needs to take the course or not by checking if an employee has these competences, i.e. if the employee does not have the identified competencies in ICPD – Maintain Personal Development Profiles’ Competencies tab, he/she will need to take the course.

ICPD: Maintain Personal Development Profiles Maintain Employee’s personal profiles. “Competencies” tab lists employee’s acquired competences. These competences are cross-checked with competences in “Developed” tab in ICRS to decide whether an employee needs to take a course or not.

ICRSE: Maintain Class Registrations

Enroll employees in courses in order to acquire required competences.

RCTRP: Training Courses Required by Position The function, RCTRP – Training Courses Required by Position, is created to produce a list of training courses required by each position based on the Course Schedules (ICCS). The function can be accessed through the command window with ‘RCTRP’. RCTRE: Training Courses Required by Employee The function, RCTRE – Training Courses Required by Employee, is created to produce a list of training courses required by each employee. The function can be accessed through the command window with ‘RCTRE’. The report will track employees who are required to take a course based on Course Schedules (ICCS) and do not have the competences the course will develop. It will also track if employees are enrolled in the required class (ICRSE) if they do not have the required competences.
