MAINTAIN CANADIAN CLAIM CODES#
Canadian Claim Codes are assigned by the Canada Custom and Revenue Agency (CCRA) to indicate the tax credit amount that is being claimed by an employee for personal exemption.The Canadian Claim code file, provided by High Line contains all the CCRA specified claim amounts, both the low and high end exemption, by effective date.
High Line provides the Canadian Claim code file. A new file will be provided whenever there is a change in the Claim code amounts, usually at the beginning of each year.
You may access this feature under the Screens/Forms menu: Payroll > Setup and Definitions > Maintain CDN Claim Codes
The codes held in the Maintain CDN Claim Codes (IPCC) form is maintained by High Line and should not be altered by users.

CDN Claim codes data is stored in the P2K_PR_CDN_CLAIM_CODES and P2K_PR_CDN_CLAIM_DETAILS tables.
- Tax Claim Code
- This field displays the claim code assigned by the government. Tax_Claim_Code is a mandatory 16 character alphanumeric field supplied by High Line
- Tax Claim Type
- This field indicates that the claim code is for use on either the Federal TD1 or the appropriate province form. Tax_Claim_Type is a mandatory fixed lexicon (X_TAX_CLAIM_TYPE).
- Low End Amount
- Low end of the claim amount range. Minimum_Amount is an optional 18 digit numeric field supplied by High Line .
- High End Amount
- High end of the claim amount range. Maximum_Amount is an optional 18 digit numeric field supplied by High Line.
