All people related to the individual employee may be entered on the Define Employee Contacts (IECT) screen:

Contact data is stored in the
P2K_HR_CONTACTS and
P2K_HR_CONTACT_ROLES tables.
- Last Name
- This is the surname of the contact. Last_Name is a mandatory 50-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- First Name
- This field provides the first name used by the contact. First_Name is a mandatory 50-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Phone #
- This is the daytime phone number for the contact. Phone_Number is an optional 20-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Extn
- This is the daytime extension number for the contact. Phone_Extension is an optional 16-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Dependent

Identity#
- Salutation
- Salutation is the usual form of address for the contact. Salutation is an optional fixed lexicon (X_SALUTATION).
- First Name
- This is the first name used by the contact. First_Name is a mandatory 50-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Middle Name
- This is the contact's middle name or initials. Middle_Name is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you may manually enter.
- Last Name
- This is the surname of the contact. Last_Name is a mandatory 50-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Rank
- This is the name extension e.g. Jr., Sr., III, etc. Rank is an optional fixed lexicon (X_RANK) you may use to look up the value.
- Language
- Indicates the contact's language of preference for communication/correspondence. Language_Code is a mandatory fixed lexicon (X_LANGUAGE_CODE) you may use to look up to choose a value.
- Title
- If the contact has a title, that title should be indicated here.
Personal#
- Gender
- This field indicates whether the contact is male or female. Gender is a mandatory fixed lexicon (X_GENDER).
- Birth Date
- This field provides the date of birth of the contact person (used for tax and benefit purposes). This is not usually needed for business contacts. Birth_Date is an optional date you may manually enter or use the calendar (F9) for any date changes may occur.
- Gov't Code Origin
- This field identifies the country that generated the employee’s government code. Govt_Code_Origin is a mandatory fixed lexicon (X_GOVT_CODE_ORIGIN).
- Gov't Code
- Gov’t Code is the contact's government identification number (SSN/SIN). U.S.A.: Social Security Number (SSN) of the contact. Canada: Social Insurance Number (SIN) of the contact. Government_Code is a mandatory 16-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Relation
- Relation describes the relationship of a person to the employee or you with whom they are associated. Relation is an optional fixed lexicon (X_RELATION) you may use to look up the value.
- Security Level
- Security level is a security feature that provides the ability to control access to contact information. Only a user with the appropriate security level, matching (or higher than) the level of the contact will be able to see the contact information. Security_Level is an optional fixed lexicon (X_SECURITY_LEVEL) you may use the look up the value.
- Employer
- This field provides the name of the contact's employer. Employer is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you may manually enter.
- Private Contact
- If this toggle is ON, the information is private and can only be viewed by the user who created the information.
Primary Address#
- Primary Address 1
- This is the home address (street or rural route or concession #) of the contact person. Address_Line_1 is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Primary Address 2
- This field provides the second line of address, used for PO Box # or special delivery instructions. Address_Line_2 is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- City
- This field refers to the city, district or township name where the contact person resides. Locality is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you may manually enter.
- State/Prov
- This is the standard abbreviation of the state or province of the contact’s address. State_Province from P2K_CM_STATE_PROVINCES is a mandatory 16-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter or use the LOV (F9).
- Zip/Postal
- U.S.A.: Zip Code. Canada: Postal Code. Zip_Postal is a 16-character alphanumeric optional field you may manually enter.
Mailing Address#
- Mail Address 1
- This field holds the home or business address (street or rural route or concession #). Mail_Address_Line_1 is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Mail Address 2
- This is the second line of address, used for PO Box # or special delivery instructions. Mail_Address_Line_2 is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- City
- Locality refers to the city, district or township name of the mailing address. Mail_Locality is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field that you may manually fill.
- State/Prov

- This is the alternative phone number (if applicable) for the contact. Alt_Phone_Number is an optional 20-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Ext.
- This field provides an alternative phone extension (if applicable) for the contact. Alt_Phone_Extn is an optional 16-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Cellular Number
- This is the cellular, portable or mobile phone number for the contact person. Cellular_Number is an optional 20-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Fax Number
- This field provides the facsimile number of the contact. Fax_Number is an optional 20-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Email Address
- This is the email address of the contact. Email_Address is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Web Address
- If the contact has a web site, this is the address for the website. Web_Address is an optional 50-character alphanumeric field you must manually enter.
- Contact Type
- Contact Type indicates whether this is an employee contact (spouse, emergency contact, dependent or beneficiary), or a business contact (business or personal) of the user. Contact_Type is a mandatory fixed lexicon (X_CONTACT_TYPE).
