DEFINE LEGISLATIVE FORMS#

The Define Legislative Forms (IDFD) form allows users to create governmental forms within the system, such as tax and unemployment insurance forms.

The definition data for the Define Legislative Forms form is stored in the P2K_CM_FORM_DEFINITIONS and P2K_CM_FORM_FIELDS tables.

IDFD Field Desciptions

FieldDescription
FormThis field uniquely identifies the form within the system.
TypeThis field defines the type of form being defined, such as U.S. unemployment insurance form or a Canadian tax form.
DescriptionThis field provides a short description of the form.
FileThis field defines any file associated with this from.


SequenceThis field defines the sequential order of the fields within the form.
IdentifierDefines the fields within this form.
DescriptionA sort description of the field is provided here.
PromptDefines the name of the field that is displayed on the form.
TypeDefines the type of field, such as numeric, date or alphanumeric.
UsageDefines if the field is either user-defined or system provided.
LevelDefines the field level, such as employee, employer, federal, etc.

Format MaskDefines how the data for the field is to be formatted.

Derivation ExpressionThis field defines the derivation expression for the Identifier. Derivation expressions provide the ability to translate values, or to retrieve information otherwise not accessible in an interface format.

Data from within the Personality database may need to be translated to match the requirements from a receiving third party system. Also, data within a source file may need to be translated to match Personality specifications.
