DEFINE LEGISLATIVE FORMS
The Define Legislative Forms (IDFD) form allows you to create forms within the system for governmental forms such as tax forms and unemployment insurance.
The definition data for the Define Legislative Forms screen is stored in the P2K_CM_FORM_DEFINITIONS and P2K_CM_FORM_FIELDS tables.
- Form
- This field uniquely identifies the form within the system.
- Type
- This field identifies the type of form being defined. e.g. Canadian tax form, U.S. unemployment insurance form
- Description
- This field provides a short description of the form.
- File
- This field provides any file associated with this from.
- Sequence
- This field defines the sequential order of the fields within the form.
- Identifier
- The fields within this form are identified here.
- Description
- A sort description of the field is provided here.
- Prompt
- The name of the field that will be displayed on the form is identified here.
- Type
- The field's type, such as numeric, date or alphanumeric is identified here.
- Usage
- Whether the field is user-defined or system provided is identified here.
- Level
- The field level (e.g. employee, employer, federal, etc.) is identified here.
- Format Mask

- Reference Text
- This field holds reference text for the form.
- Validation Clause

- Field Length
- The field length is identified here.
