SET COST CENTER SECURITY#
The Set Cost Center Security (IDCCS) form is used to implement security for cost centers used throughout the application.
The definition data for the Set Cost Center Security screen is stored in the P2K_AM_FUNCTIONS and P2K_AM_OBJECT_SECURITIES tables.

- This field allows you to uniquely identify a security code in which a cost center may be associated to in IDCC.

- This field provides a short description of the cost center security.
Steps for Setting Up Cost Center Security#
- Cost Center Security Based on Security Code
- Define a Security Code in IDCCS
- Associate a Security Code to a Cost Center in IDCC.
- In IMSV define a 'Cost Center' security right for a user or role and associate a Security Code in the look up value. Depending on the security rule chosen in IMSV, the user or role may be restricted to or from using the cost center associated to the security code.

- In IMSV define a 'Cost Center Code' security right for a user or role and associate a Cost Center Code in the look up value. Depending on the security rule chosen in IMSV, the user or role may be restricted to or from the specified cost center.
