USING THE REGISTER SORT ELEMENT#

The pay register has an optional parameter that allows you to define a pay element to indicate the pay components to print on the register and the order of the pay components.

If a pay element is not indicated the pay components on the register are printed in columns, in ascending numeric order. If a pay element is indicated, then the pay components are printed in columns, in the order of the sequence they have in the pay element form.

You may also use pay components to create a ‘header’ for each section.

The PC usage of ‘21-Register Group Heading’ needs to be used on these pay components. This ensures that only the description is printed.
