How Do I Approve or Cancel a Training Request?#

In order to use the ‘Process Approvals’ option in Self Service, approvals must be set up. In addition, you must be authorized to approve.

  1. As a Manager, go to Manager Self Service > My Employees > Review Training Requests (WMCAT)
  2. OR as an HR Administrator, go to HR Admin Self Service > HR Requests for Administrators > Approve Training Requests (WVCAT)
  3. From the list of employee who have made requests select (double-click on) the one you wish to work with.
  4. From the list of classes they have applied for select (click on) the one you wish to work with.
  5. If you are authorized for an approval level, beneath the details you will see the Approval Bar:
    • Right mouse click to see the available approver options
    • Here you may click on the green check mark to approve the change or you may click on the red X to decline the request.
