How Do I Approve or Cancel a Training Request?#
In order to use the ‘Process Approvals’ option in Self Service, approvals must be set up. In addition, you must be authorized to approve.
- As a Manager, go to Manager Self Service > My Employees > Review Training Requests (WMCAT)
- OR as an HR Administrator, go to HR Admin Self Service > HR Requests for Administrators > Approve Training Requests (WVCAT)
- From the list of employee who have made requests select (double-click on) the one you wish to work with.
- From the list of classes they have applied for select (click on) the one you wish to work with.
- If you are authorized for an approval level, beneath the details you will see the Approval Bar:
- Right mouse click to see the available approver options
- Here you may click on the green check mark to approve the change or you may click on the red X to decline the request.
