The EEO Report is for US installations. Canadian installations will use the (UEEE) report
Employment equity reports for both public and private sectors are provided within the system. The EEO reports are flexible while providing the essential information for government reporting requirements such as breakdown by EEO category, gender, and ethnicity.
EEO categories are predefined using the fixed lexicon X_EEO_CATEGORY. EEO1 values are used for private sector reporting, EEO4 entries are used for public sector reporting and EEO5 values are used for Elementary/Secondary school reporting.
EEO categories need to be attached to an employee’s job through the (IDJB) screen in order for the EEO reports to reflect the information correctly.
EEOC Function on the Department (IDDP) screen is used for EEO-4 reporting. EEOC functions are predefined using the fixed lexicon X_EEOC_FUNCTION.
Gender is used in EEO reporting as another major categorization of data for equal opportunity reporting. The Maintain Identities Information (IEID) screen is used to set up the employee’s gender.
Ethnic is used in EEO reporting as another major categorization of data for equal opportunity reporting. The Maintain Personal Information (IEPI) form is used to set up the employee’s ethnic category
The Responsibility Level lexicon from X_RESPONSIBILITY_LEVEL is used for reporting production and white-collar trainees for full time employees on EEO-1 reporting requirement. Lexicon value of ‘10-Trainee-Other’ is not totaled in production and white-collar trainees. The Maintain Assignments (IEAS) form is used to set the responsibility level of the employee.
The Responsibility Level lexicon may also be used to define security access to employee records.
