Embedded Development Activity Approval#
The
embedded form Plan Development Activity (ECDP) is used by both the
request facility and by
approvals to display crucial information regarding scheduling of development activities.
- Candidate
- This field will display the name of the applicant.
- Candidate Status
- This field shows the status of the candidate. The information for this field is information only and will default in from the IRCA form once the candidate has been selected.
- Availability
- This is the date that the employee will be available for the development activity. The information for this field is information only and will default in from the IRCA form once the candidate has been selected.
- Seq #
- This field shows the sequential order in which the candidate must take the development activity. Sequence is a mandatory 5-character numeric field you may fill manually.
- Description
- This field provides a short description of the development activity. Description is an optional 50-character numeric field you may fill manually.
- Assessment
- This field identifies the assessment associated with this development activity. Assessment is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the LOV (P2K_RE_ASSESSMENTS) provided.
- Course
- This field identifies any course that may be associated with this development activity. Course_Code is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the LOV (P2K_CP_COURSES) provided.
- Program
- If this activity belongs to a development program, that program is indicated here. Program_Code is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the LOV (P2K_CP_DEVELOPMENT_PROGRAMS) provided.
- Program Step #
- This field will indicate what step the activity is within the development program. Step is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the LOV (P2K_CP_PROGRAM_STEPS) provided.

- Status
- This field identifies the status of the development activity. Activity_Status is a mandatory field that you must fill with a value from the fixed lexicon (X_ACTIVITY_STATUS) provided.
- Category
- This field defines the category that this activity falls under. Activity_Category is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the user-defined lexicon (X_ACTIVITY_CATEGORY) provided.
- Type
- This field defines the type of activity that this particular development activity falls under. Program_Type is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the fixed lexicon (X_PROGRAM_TYPE) provided.
- Start Date
- This field displays the start date of the development activity. Activity_Start_Date is an optional field you may either manually enter or use the calendar.
- End Date
- This field displays the end date of the development activity. Activity_End_Date is an optional field you may either manually enter or use the calendar.
- Duration
- This field identifies the duration of the activity. Duration is an optional 9-character numeric field you may manually fill.
- Basis
- This field identifies the time basis for the duration specified in the previous field. Duration_Basis is an optional field that you may fill with a value from the fixed lexicon (X_PERIOD_BASIS) provided.
- Budget Amount
- This field displays the amount budgeted for the activity. Budget_Amount is an optional 18-character numeric field you may fill manually.
- Actual Amount
- This field displays the actual amount spent on this activity. Actual_Amount is an optional 18-character numeric field you may fill manually.
- Currency
- This field describes the currency that the amounts will be expressed in. Currency is an optional field that you must fill with a value from the fixed lexicon (X_CURRENCY) provided.
- Text
- This field allows you to add any necessary extra information about the activity. Activity_Text is an optional 4000-character numeric field you may fill manually.
Approval#
This section will display the
approval bar where the approver may approve or dis-approve the development activities planning.
