DATE is an ePersonality Domain that has the following characteristics:
- Data base storage is in a DATE data type (see below)
- Screen representation is as a text field, with a calendar widget selector
- Formatted input and output is controlled through preferences defined in IMST
DATE is an Oracle data type that indicates this field holds a date/time value. Although the variable is capable of holding a time component, ePersonality does not utilize this, and so all time components (other than for CHANGE_DATE and CREATE_DATE) are usually set to midnight (i.e. 00:00:00)
