There are many SQL functions that can be used within the SQL Loader control files, these can be seen in the Callable Function page. These modification tokens all use standard SQL functions. These can be used to modify the data being read in from the comma delimited file, before it is actually inserted into the interface table within the database.
In each example the character will have to be replaced with the field name that the modification is being based on (including a leading colon : ) and the token will have to enclosed in quotation marks (“). It should also be pointed out that the source field in the token does not have to be the same as the destination field. It can be any field defined within the control file for the target table.
