CODE is an [ePersonality Domain] which imparts the following characteristics:

* [Oracle data type] is [VARCHAR16|VARCHARnn]
* It is part of the unique key identification of the table to which it belongs, not necessarily that it must be unique within the system.  For example, the Unique Key on the [P2K_CM_JOBS] table consists of [DUN_ID] and [JOB_CODE] which indicates that the uniqueness of Job Code must be within the Unit (DUN_ID) whereas the unique key on [P2K_CM_ENTITIES] is only [ENTITY_CODE] so that indicates that it must be unique within the system.
