CLOCK_ENTRY_SOURCE is a field used to indicate where the clock entry came from.
X_CLOCK_ENTRY_SOURCE is a fixed lexicon with the following values:

A clock entry is generated when an employee punches IN a second time without punching OUT; this provides new costing information on the second IN punch (i.e. A different job). A system generated OUT punch is automatically created to end the time of the first IN punch. |
