Budget calculations are done as accurately as possible by using existing “payroll calculation”
rules.
Positions that are vacant use a default set of pay rules.
Actual amounts can be pulled directly from the Payroll G/L Journal Entry tables or loaded in from external sources.
Actuals are stored in a budget area and scenario called “ACTUAL”.
Budget amounts can also be imported from external sources.
