A770 Termination Amount Payout {optional}#

This component calculates the amount to be paid out on termination. Only used when A760 is chosen.

Choose the rule that is used as the ‘Termination Amount Payout’ rule.

If the amount derived from the rule chosen above is to be paid to the employee, a pay component must be defined. If any rule is chosen, a leave line will be created for the applicable amount.

Note that none of the above occurs unless the employment status is “terminated” and the Final Pay Method is indicated on the employee’s pay header.

If no amount is paid out on termination, do not define this component, or define the component with the applicable rule, and do not define a payroll component. A final option is to use a payroll component that does not appear on the payroll stub, to allow the amounts to be balanced on the financial ledgers (if required).
