This component holds the dollars to be paid (or lost) based on the time in component A340.

Was there excess time over the cap indicated in A340?

Yes: Choose the rule to be used
No: Go to 'Components to Calculate Earnings and Percentages’

Calculate Amount using

Wage Rate

Create a leave line for any change in the

amount of Excess over Cap.

Calculate the amount of excess time over the

cap using the excess time (A340) and the

employee's wage rate (A010).
