No: Go to A290
Rule | Description | Logic | Assoc. | Go to |
---|---|---|---|---|
00 | Derive from User Calc only | Uses the value returned by the specified <UserCalc> as the prorated entitlement. The UserCalc must be of the type ‘Function’, with a return value of the type ‘Numeric’. Use the RET operator to return the Numeric value. The value is interpreted by the component as a user supplied FTE value by which the period entitlement will be multiplied. | A260 Rule01 Rule02 | A290 |
01 | Prorate by Employee’s Daily Hours | Calculates: Period Entitlement (A260) x EE hours per day (IEAS) / Standard hours per day (IDGR) | A260 Rule01 Rule02 | A290 |
02* | Prorate by Employee's Weekly Hours | Calculates: Period Entitlement (A260) x EE hours per Week (IEAS) / Standard hours per Week (IDGR) | A260 Rule01 Rule02 | A290 |
03* | Prorate by Employee's FTE Value | Calculates: Period Entitlement (A260) x Employee’s FTE value (IEAS) | A260 Rule01 Rule02 | A290 |
It may appear that Rules 01, 02 and 03 will give the same entitlement for an employee who works less than full time.
