This component indicates how the period entitlement derived. This component is required to
derive periodic accruals (e.g. annual, monthly, pay period, etc.).\\ \\Choose the rule that is used as the ‘Period Entitlement Method’ rule.

There are no rules defined above for policies whose entitlement is based on a percentage of earnings. These components are defined in the “Components to Calculate Earnings and Percentages” topic.

If the policy is based on both time and percentage of earnings (typically whichever is the higher amount), define the time entitlement in this Component (A260), and the percent of earnings entitlement in ‘Components to Calculate Earnings and Percentages’ (A400-A699).
