Components to Calculate Current Owing/Payout Balances (A700 – A899)#

At this point, the employees have been qualified, service levels have been calculated, and entitlements have been awarded.

The next step in Attendance Policy Definition is to define how much of that entitlement is available to the employee to take, specifically, the Current Owing.

Policies have rules about paying out to employees.

  • Is the full amount owing available to the employee during their employment with the company?
  • On termination, does the employee receive the amount owing, a portion of it, or is it lost?
  • Is the employee allowed to carry over amounts unused from one year to the next?
