Mass updates may be performed for employee benefits. This may be for the purposes of mass enrolling new hires into required plans/coverages, or ending benefits for terminated employees or employees that no longer qualify based on IBSC. These types of changes would be done through the Update Benefit Enrollments (UBEN) form.\\

To use the UBEN to enroll employees in a coverage;\\
1) The benefit must be established on [IBSC]\\
2) The [IBSC] must have an "Election Default Coverage" defined\\
3) The [IBSC] must have a participation rule of 'Required'\\

For employees that no longer qualify for a coverage based on the [IBSC], their enrollment status will be changed to "Pending Removal".
These records will be updated by UBEN to "Not Enrolled" as of the processing date specified.
