Time Rule Overview
The purpose of this time rule is to ensure an employee is entitled to receive overtime for the hours worked above the qualifying hours limit in the work week.

The first day of the week is determined in the order below:
By the first day of the week defined on the Work Rule
By "WK START OFF DAY" time rule if it is defined
By Shift Pattern / Work Calendar start day if the time rule day has the "Week Start Date" value
Once the start of the week is determined the system will calculate the hours worked from the beginning of the week up to the current work date.
If the hours worked are more than the minimum to qualify, the system will apply the overtime for the hours that are above the limit.

This time rule will grant an employee overtime for the hours worked that exceed the value defined in the Band.

The first day of the week is determined in the order below:
* The first day of the week, defined in the Work Rule
* The "WK START OFF DAY" time rule, if it is defined
* By Shift Pattern / Work Calendar start day, if the time rule's Day field has the "Week Start Date" defined
Once the start of the week is determined, each day is counted to determine how many consecutive days the employee worked in the workweek until the current date.
