!!!Missed Punch
!!Time Rule Overview
This is a helper time rule that will apply the defined Time Code for any scheduled time where clock punches are missing.
If the Target Time Code Set is defined, only records that have one of the defined Time Codes will go through the missing punch evaluation process. This allows a manager to add extra time afterward, and this time can be excluded from the missing punch evaluation.
For more details about missing punches please read [Missing Clock Punches|MISSING CLOCK PUNCHES]
*Time Rule Type Code: MISSED PUNCH
!!Additional Info
[Frequency|FREQUENCY] predefined as Never
The identification of missing punches depends on the following set up on the IDWR form, on the [IDWR(Details Tab) |IDWR# Details tab]:
#[Track Work Punches|TRACK_WORK_PUNCHES]
#[Track Meal Punches |TRACK_MEAL_PUNCHES]
* When only the [Track Work Punches|TRACK_WORK_PUNCHES] toggle is set to ON, the system will expect punches at the beginning and end of the shift, or for any work after a gap in time, such as a split shift.
* When the [Track Work Punches|TRACK_WORK_PUNCHES] and the [Track Meal Punches |TRACK_MEAL_PUNCHES] toggles are both set to ON, the system will expect punches for meal time as well.
* If neither toggles are set to ON, the system will not expect any Clock punches.
!!Implementation
The time rule should be set up in [IDWR] as shown below.

Missed Punch

This is a helper time rule which will apply the defined time code for scheduled time where the clocks are missing.
If the Target Time Code Set is defined, only records that have one of these time codes will go through the missing punch evaluation process. In this way the manager can add extra time afterwards and this time can be excluded from the missing punch evaluation.
For more details about missing punches please read the Missing Clock Punches, EP_WP_MissingClockPunches-v1_00.doc.

predefined as ‘Never’
The identification of missing punches depends on the following set up in IDWR(Details Tab):
Track Work Punches
Track Meal Punches
When only the Track Work Punches is checked, the system will predict that there will be punches at the beginning and ending of the shift work time or for any work after a gap in time (ie: split shift).
When the Track Work Punches and the Track Meal Punches are both checked, the system will predict that there will be punches for meal time also. If neither are checked then the system will not expect any Clock punches.

Implementation
The time rule should be set up in IDWR as shown below. See Chapter 3 - Time Rule Improvements for additional information regarding IDWR.I
