The purpose of the Min Rest Shift Until Rest time rule is to apply a time code and/or premium if the employee did not receive a number of rest hours, defined in the band, since the previous rest period. If the time code and premium are not provided the the prevailing rate will be used. The time rule will take into consideration the day of the week specified, or if this is null it will be applied to all days.

*The minimum number of rest hours is known as the minimum rest period (specified in the band). The time rule looks back to the beginning of that shift to see if the employee has had the minimum number of rest hours between hours worked. If the employee has worked within that minimum rest period, then the employee qualifies for the premium/time code.
