Time Rule will identify and fill gaps in the time. Depending of the break length (defined in the value) the rule will apply different time codes.
If the length is greater than the value, the Meal Time Rule time code it will be applied, otherwise it will apply the time code defined in the Gap Time rule.
This time rule will work in conjunction with MEAL PENALTY for California employees, to ensure that the employee has a Meal break each five hours of work, or they will receive an additional one hour's pay as compensation.
