1. On the first screen, select the File DSN tab at the top of the screen (NOT User DSN or System DSN).
2. Once in the File DSN screen, click the Add button in order to add a new data source.
*Upon clicking ADD you will be prompted to select the driver you want to setup as the data source.

3. For our purposes, select Oracle ODBC Driver.

4. Click on the Finish button.
5. You will be then be prompted to select a name for the Access data source. In our example, we provided erosp as the name of the database from which we will access data.
6. Click the Next button. You are then presented with a summary of your choices.

7. Click the Finish button. You are then prompted to connect to the source database with the driver.
*For our purposes here the fields should be completed as follows:
**Service Name = Database Alias
**User Name = Username used to access the database from the mail merge.
**Password = User’s password from Personality

8. Click the OK button and the following screen will appear.
